We've been using the wagon to go on walks a lot more lately, and James loves walking behind it and pushing it. Today is a gorgeous fall day and James is in a great mood!

A Chris Story

As most of you know, James carries his buddy Chris everywhere he goes. You can spot him in most pictures with James. Chris receives so much love that I started to worry that he wouldn't stand the test of time. I cleverly decided to get a 'back-up Chris' in case of emergency...

The back-up arrived today.

In case it's not apparent, the new Chris falls a bit short of original Chris.

But I thought I'd try him out on James anyway.

Jamo was somewhat suspicious at first...

But I'm happy to report the new Chris has been accepted into the family with open arms. My plan backfired in another way however, because instead of having a 'back-up' to original Chris, James is now carrying both Chrises around the house together. The best-laid plans....

Quiet time

James and I have had a couple quiet days at home since returning from NYC. I've been working nights, and James had a cold this past week, which turned into an ear infection, so we're laying low.

We had a playgroup at Unity Martial Arts today, which was great! James got to run around on the mats and play with all the balls and equipment.
