Our first official lesson at Heart and Hooves was a partial success. James fell asleep in the car on the way there, so had a hard time adjusting to suddenly having a helmet on and new people around. He was excited about walking on the horse, but not that into learning the hand motions to get the horse to go and stop, and was a bit zoned out in general. Hopefully next week will be an improvement!
I just think this very exciting. I hope he continues to like it. I never could get the hang of horses, myself.
